I am Carla Briceno, the CEO and Co-Founder of Bixal, an organization determined to leave a positive impact on the lives of people everywhere.
Bixal is the embodiment of everything we believe. It’s a culmination of life experiences and it was inspired by the countless wonderful people and perspectives we’ve encountered on our journeys. But, most importantly, Bixal is a reflection of the intense desire we share to use our powers for good—a passion to leave the world a better place.
My desire to seek out new continents, countries, and cultures started young. My early career began as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Guatemala—an eye-opening experience that exposed me to the challenges that people face around the world. A spark was lit, and today it burns stronger than ever. Since that time, I’ve directed a nonprofit program for Latino immigrants, supported countless international development activities in Latin America, and dived headfirst into technology as a developer and digital project manager.
With Bixal, I was able to fuse my experiences with my passion. We’ve attracted and united an unparalleled team of strategists, designers and technologists from around the world, and we support our agency partners everyday by building human-focused experiences that reach communities, transform organizations, and improve lives. We focus our efforts in the Federal Government space because that is where our work has the broadest reach. Everyone deserves an effective government, and we believe that if we can optimize the customer experience in this space for our clients and partners, the potential is absolutely limitless.
